Here is what 343 Industries had to say regarding the matter:

If everything goes according to plan, our first flight for Halo: Reach on MCC PC will be next week to a small subsection of registered Halo Insiders. We’re starting more modestly because we’ve got quite a few levers to pull and we want to ensure our delivery pipeline runs smoothly, our communications are clear, and that participants can properly provide their feedback on the build.

Halo: Infinite is the next big game in the franchise but Microsoft has already confirmed that it will release alongside the Xbox Scarlett. So it will release in the Fall of 2020. Meanwhile, PC players will be able to play Halo: Reach and other games that are part of the Master Chief Collection.

Halo: Reach is going to be the first title that will be playable on PC and the rest will follow soon after. 343 Industries has provided some details regarding the upcoming title and has mentioned that Halo: Infinite will have a couple of betas before launch.

While Halo: Reach PC testing will only be available to a small group of people. If you are interested in the development of the game, you can stay in the loop. Here is what the devs had to say in this regard:

The team has a build which appears to be a strong candidate, but it’s still in the middle of going through the test process as I type (and as you read). That said, we’re still targeting to release next week and will be sharing the details with the public, so even if you aren’t selected for the flight, you’ll know what’s happening. Stay tuned for more details throughout!

It is safe to say that PC gamers will have plenty of Halo content to play before the release of Halo: Infinite.
