Game Critics Awards Best E3 2018 Nominees

There is no better way to end E3 than to announce the nominees for the Games Critics Awards; which represent special distinctions for the video games showcased at the Electronic Entertainment Expo.

Every year the nominees for the Best of E3 Game Critics Awards are selected by major publications working in the entertainment field. This year we have 51 specialists from the gaming industry.

Their job was to select the best playable games at E3 2018; however, before announcing the winners, a list of nominees was created.

This list is revealed below, while the winners can be seen here.

It is worth mentioning that the Best of E3 2018 Game Critics Awards are given to playable titles only.

This means that games such as Cyberpunk 2077, Control, Fallout 76, or Elder Scrolls VI do not qualify for these awards; simply because they were not playable.

Some of these video games may still receive special honors for other features such as music or graphics; but not the E3 2018 Games Critics Awards. The said commendations will also be announced this Monday.

So, back to our list of nominees; where we can see that 11 of them are published by Ubisoft.

BioWare’s Anthem is nominated in 5 categories and FromSoftware’s Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice in 4; both of them competing for Best of Show Award against Marvel’s Spider-Man, Resident Evil 2 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Finally, 58 titles are playable on PlayStation 4, 55 on PC and 51 on Xbox One.
