Escape From Tarkov comprises of a plethora of unique and interesting missions that put your deductive skills to the test.
While some of these missions are rather easy to clear, others can be a massive pain – solely due to the massive number of variables in them. Let’s take the Search Mission as an example.

Search Mission – Quest Objectives
You will be aiming to complete the following objectives while playing the Search Mission in Escape From Tarkov.

- Locating the Prapor’s missing convoy within the woods.
- Locating the temporary USEC camp
- Surviving and extracting yourself from the woods.

Search Mission | Locations
You don’t really need to discover the locations in rapid succession. It’s perfectly plausible to take your due time with the main story quests while you complete the Search Mission in the background.
Having said that, you’d have to perform extraction once the second objective is complete. Otherwise, the mission will fail.
With that out of the way, both locations are present on the Northwestern side of the map and can be accessed side by side.
Accessing The Encampment
Once you’ve reached the northwest corner, head to the south of the radio tower until you reach the convoy in the middle of the rocky area. There aren’t any roads here, so exercise caution.

From here, just keep heading west until you reach the USEC encampment. However, be careful since there’s a mine bed covering the location. You cannot see them; plus, add the fact they respawn after a while, and it’s pretty bothersome.

Luckily, the game highlights the location of these mines by showing small signs near them. Just don’t move inside from the northwest and you should be good to go.

Finding Prapor’s Missing Convoy
As mentioned previously, Prapor’s Missing Convoy is located adjacent to the encampment. The USEC camp contains a pond near its side.
Just follow the pond, and you should be able to find Prapor’s Missing Convoy without a hitch!
Conclusion
In essence, you just need to scurry your way through the woods until you find the UESC encampment. From there, look for a pond, and follow it to reach the Prapor’s mission convoy.
This is a search-based mission so you won; ‘t be expected to do anything here. However, make a run for it, or in Tarkov’s terms – extract yourself as soon as you complete the second phase of the mission.
There’s no need to take any other route since they can be needlessly time consuming and dangerous.
