Scarlet Nexus Dominus Circus Boss Guide: How To Beat

Scarlet Nexus Dominus Circus

Scarlet Nexus has tons of bosses that come throughout the game. These bosses are known as the Major Others. One of these Major Others is Dominus Circus. Dominus Circus makes its appearance in the 12th phase of the game. This Scarlet Nexus guide will include all the details on how to beat Dominus Circus.

How to Beat Dominus Circus Boss in Scarlet Nexus

The fight with Domis Circus is one of the most prolonged boss fights in the game. It would be best if you had a lot of healing items to make it through this fight. You will also need Team Jelly items for your party members to be healed if they have low health. There are four phases in the Dominus Circus boss fight. You will have to take on the boss who will have new attacks and weaknesses in each phase.

Phase 1

In the first phase of the boss fight, most of Dominus’s body parts are immune to damage. The only part that takes good damage is the dish-like thing on his upper body. You can use aerial attacks and combos to deal damage to it. If you are at a range, then consider using Psychokinesis to throw objects at it. The middle of the arena has many objects for you to use to lure the boss there.

It has an attack where it shoots a stream of water towards you. This does severe damage so try to avoid it. It has an umbrella that acts as a shield that protects it from damage. It has a charge attack where it takes up a stance. This is quite a predictable move, and you can easily dodge it. You can Tsugumi’s Clairvoyance dodge the attack at the last second and use it in your favor by counterattacking. If you manage to counter-attack, Dominus will fall and can take more damage.

It also has an attack where it forms a giant water wall to protect itself from damage. You can use Teleportation to get past it and attack the boss. Once its crush gauge is depleted, you can use your Brain Crush to take it down.

Phase 2

After the first Dominus falls, another will show up. This boss will have an elephant head on its top. It has a close-range attack where it can spray toxic gas using its elephant head. The gas does not travel much, so you can easily fall back when this happens. It also has an attack where it uses the trunk to shoot it at you like a spear. Dodging this is important as this deals great damage. It only does this attack on the close range, so bear that in mind.

You can use Tsugumi’s Clairvoyance to dodge and counterattack the spear attack if you want. It will knock the boss down and give you more time to deal damage to it. After you take out some of its health, it will make a mist around the whole area. Use Tsugumi’s Clairvoyance to see where the boss is, and you can also see its weak spot on the head. This is your target, and you need to damage it. It will protect itself by shooting homing projectiles at you, which are slow, and you can dodge easily.

Once its crush gauge starts to deplete, it will fall, and you can land a Brain Crush. This will take down the boss, and the next phase will start.

Phase 3

In this phase, the dish-like boss from the first phase will reappear with a different arm. If you are close, then this arm will swipe at you. If you are afar, then this arm will shoot waves of air at you. You can use Teleportation to close the gap between you and the boss. The boss does not have many new attacks and will use most of the attacks from phase one. It will also use the charge attack where you will need to use Clairvoyance. Counter attacking it will give you a chance to knock it down and deal more damage.

Its weak point in this phase is its new arm, and it takes serious damage. Take out the arm, and the boss will lose a lot of health. Keep dodging most of the abilities, and soon its crush gauge will deplete. After you use your Brain Crush, it will fall.

Phase 4

In this phase, all of the three Dominus will face you in a combined form. It has all the attacks from the previous phase, and it will use them. It shoots airwaves if you are away and also the water wall to protect itself. Dominus also has the easy to dodge charge attack and the mist in which you have to use Clairvoyance. Make use of Teleportation and Clairvoyance to dodge and counter-attack like in the previous phases.

This will allow you to use Brain Crush after its crush gauge depletes. Surprisingly the Brain Crush will not be enough to end the fight. Make sure that your SAS abilities are not active more than they need to. Clairvoyance is important throughout the fight and should not be on cooldown when you need it the most.
