Red Dead Redemption II: Pronghorn Horn Trinket Crafting Guide

If you enjoy hunting in Red Dead Redemption 2 and also making money from the carcasses you sell, the Pronghorn Horn Trinket is a must-have for you.

The RDR2 Pronghorn Horn Trinket is quite easy to obtain, but unfortunately, you won’t be able to craft it until you reach the Epilogue of the video game developed by Rockstar Studios.

That’s because the Pronghorn Trinket requires the horn of a Legendary Animal which can be found in the New Austin area, south-west of Lake Don Julio.

In the said area of the game, Arthur is a wanted man, meaning that the moment you enter; a large number of lawmen will come after you. Although you might survive for a short duration, you’ll eventually end dead.

With this in mind, after you finish Chapter 6 in the game, you’ll be able to travel to New Austin, where you can hunt the Legendary Pronghorn.

Once killed, skin the animal to get the Pronghorn Horn, then take its carcass to a Trapper. Sell the carcass then visit a Fence to craft this RDR2 trinket.

Pronghorn Horn Trinket Materials:

1x Legendary Pronghorn Horn – You’ll receive it by hunting and skinning the Legendary Pronghorn, southwest of Lake Don Julio.

Cost -$24.5

How to Craft the Pronghorn Trinket:

As all other trinkets in Red Dead Redemption II, the Pronghorn Horn Trinket only requires a single crafting material. With this material in your inventory, travel to a Fence, and select this unique piece of jewelry from the list of trinkets (pictured below).

Pay the shopkeeper the amount of money he asks for, and the trinket is yours.

How to Use the Pronghorn Horn Trinket:

To benefit from this special trinket, while playing the video game, all you need to do is to keep it in your satchel. There is no need to quip it.

When used, this unique item stops the animals stored on your horse from spoiling.

This means that when you carry a carcass, it will not rot; thus allowing you to travel further without worrying that you have to make it back to a Trapper before the carcass decomposes.

It is a very useful piece of jewelry that will surely help you during your hunting trips.
