Red Dead Redemption II: Blue Jay Hunting Guide

RDR2 Blue JayThe Red Dead Redemption 2 Blue Jay is a small-sized bird you must find and hunt in order to get Total Completion in the video game developed by Rockstar Studios for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Endemic to most forests in the American Heartland, the RDR2 Blue Jays have blue feathers. Because of their size though they can be hard to spot.

The Blue Jay in Red Dead Redemption II doesn’t have any variations, and because it’s a bird, a legendary specimen doesn’t exist in the game. Our hunting guide below reveals the locations where you can find Blue Jays in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Furthermore, you can see the complete list of crafting materials you can gather from a Blue Jay, and how to use them properly.

Description

“Blue Jays can be found across the forested regions of the American Heartland. As omnivores, they eat nuts, acorns, seeds, beetles, grasshoppers, and caterpillars. A bird this size can be killed with less impact. A Bow with Small Game Arrows can successfully be used for hunting. Their feathers can be used for crafting, and their carcass can be sold to traders.”
