Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart has different and good-looking armor sets which you can try out. You can acquire most of these armor sets by completing challenges and missions. However, you can find some by just exploring areas and finding them in the right spot. Armor Set Locations in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
Every armor set comprises three pieces, a Helmet, Chest, and Boots. The armor set is not only a means of cosmetics but also has stats that offer protection. The following are the locations of the eight armor sets:
Captain Starshield Armor Set
You can find pieces of this armor set in different areas of the game. The helmet is located in the pocket dimension, which is at the southeastern cliffs on Savalli. Here you can see a path that allows you to run along the walls. Do so, and you can find the helmet ahead. After escaping Rubion Forge, strike the Blizon crystal so that you can enter the pocket dimension in the ruined lab. Here you will find emergency ramps that you need to shoot. This will make the ramps inflate, allowing you to cross through them to the Body Piece.
You can find the Boots in the pocket dimension on Ardolis. You can see objects here that are floating in the air. Make use of them and make your way right to where you will find the boots, and you will complete the set.
Carbonox Advanced Armor Set
Acquiring this armor set is quite simple. You need to complete the final challenge in the bronze, silver, and gold cups in Zurkie’s Arena. Doing so will unlock the complete armor set and allow you to gain its bonuses.
Galactic Ranger Armor Set
The helmet is located in the pocket dimension on Sargasso. Here you will have to use the Speedle and ride it all the way to the Helmet. You can find the Chest in the pocket dimension on Blizar Prime. You will have to make paths for you to go through by using generators.
Make a path one after the other until you reach the pod to find the body piece. Lastly, for Boots, you will have to collect all Zurpstones for Trudi on Sargasso, which you can find all over the map.
Lombax Praetorian Armor Set
The helmet is in a pocket dimension on Torren IV. After making your way through the Chasm and enter the pocket dimension. Here you find a Speedle. Make use of it to get to the helmet. You can find the Chest piece in a pocket dimension on Viceron.
Here you find yet another Speedle which will take you to the area with walls with blue arrows. Run along the walls and make your way to the body piece. For boots, head to the pocket dimension located in Savali, near the forest temple. Run along the walls here and follow the blue arrows to reach the boots and complete the set.
Q-Force Armor Set
The helmet is located in a pocket dimension on the northeast of Zurkie. In the pocket dimension, you find turning platforms. Jump from one platform to the other perfectly to reach the Helmet. For the Chest piece, you will have to make your way to the southern wall of the VIP security wing on Viceron. Here you will find an open cell with the body piece. The boots are located on Bilzar Prime. Proceed ahead to find Blizon Crystals. Shooting them will give you the boots and complete the set.
Robot Disguise Armor Set
You can find the helmet in the pocket dimension in Nefarious city near the market. Once arriving there, look for flying objects which will lead you to the enemies. Defeat them and get the helmet. For the Chest, head to the pocket dimension in the southwest corner of Sargasso.
Make your way to the platforms and destroy the boxes on top so that you can jump onto these platforms to get to the body piece. For the boots, make your way to the pocket dimension in a cave near Rivet’s Hideout. The boots are ahead of the platforms. However, make your way across the platforms fast as they explode quickly.
Robot Pirate Armor Set
To acquire the Helmet, you will have to make your way to Ardolis. Here you have to complete the Pirate trials, which will allow you to rotate the ratchet on the floor. Upon doing this, you can see the Helmet and can get it. The chest is located to the east of Ms. Zurkon’s shop on Savali. Here you can find a moving platform that you have to chase down using your thrusters. Doing so will allow you to acquire the body piece.
You can get the boots by completing the Welcome Party quest in the Battleplex. The quest requires you to defeat a wave of enemies. Once done, you will get the boots, and you will get bonuses for completing the set.
Wasteland Armor Set
You will have to find all the 12 Lombax Lore orbs to acquire the armor set. You can find these orbs in the Shrines around Sivali. Once the orbs are found, you will unlock the whole set.
