Upgrades and Recruitment
Your main priority is to recruit any possible crew member you can. After that, make sure that you do all of their quests before the Reaper IFF mission. You also have to complete Legion’s quests after recruiting him during the Reaper IFF mission. As far as the upgrades go, you have to purchase all of the offensive and defensive upgrades.
Trust of your Companions
You can not fail any negotiations with Miranda, Tali, Jack, or Legion. If you fail to do so, you will lose your trust in them. If you want to avoid this, choose the renegade or special paragon dialogue options. This will not affect your trust.
Assignments
Upon reaching the Omega 4 Relay, you will have to assign your squadmates to certain tasks. To unlock the door, you should select Legion or Tali. Choose Jacob or Miranda to lead the assault team.
