How To Kill Bellowback In Horizon Zero Dawn
Before heading into the fight, be sure to have plenty of healing supplies. You will need to have herbs and healing potions in case things go south. Healing resources will always come in handy if you are backed into a corner. We recommend using Carja Slingshot for this encounter as it allows you to throw shock bombs.
Pair this with a war bow that shoots shock arrows and that is pretty much all that you are going to need for this encounter. You can fire two shock bombs at the body of the Bellowback and if your shots are accurate then this will immobilize the machine and will allow you to deal damage without the machine moving around and trying to attack you. While the machine is shocked, you can get close and use your spear to do a critical strike.
The back of the Bellowback is the critical spot. You can damage it a couple of times and it will explode to do massive damage. A few piercing arrows at the back will do the trick. After that, you can fire at the weak spots under its head. You can use your focus to highlight the weak points of the Bellowback in Horizon Zero Dawn, whether you are in the Cauldron or you find one in the wild.
