Genshin Impact Xinyan Ascension And Talent Materials
The following are the ascension and talent materials that you need to level up Xinyan:
Ascension Materials
The following are the ascension materials that you need to level up Xinyan to 90:
- 1x Agnidus Agate Sliver
- 9x Agnidus Agate Fragment
- 9x Agnidus Agate Chunk
- 6x Agnidus Agate Gemstone
- 46x Everflame Seed
- 168x Violetgrasss
- 18x Treasure Hoarder Insignia
- 30x Silver Raven Insignia
- 36x Golden Raven Insignia
Agnidus Agate Sliver and higher-tier variants of the resource can be earned by beating the Pyro Regisvine and Pyro Hypostasis bosses. Once you have the base resources, you can use the crafting station to convert them into higher-tier versions. The Pyro Regisvine boss also drops the Everflame Seed which is why this is the boss that you should prioritize.
Violetgrasss can be found on the cliff of Liyue. You can buy some from Herbalist Gui and Verr Goldet. Treasure Hoarder Insignia can be farmed by beating treasure hoarders that can be found in the open world. Once you have the base resource, you can convert them into the higher-tier variants at the crafting station.

The following are the talent materials that you need to upgrade all of Xinyan’s talents:

- 18x Tusk of Monoceros Caeli

Tusk of Monoceros Caeli can be obtained by beating Childe inside the Golden House. You can only get rewards from this challenge once a week. So this can take a while if you have not completed the challenge in the past. If you have other drops from this challenge then you can convert them into Tusk of Monoceros Caeli at the crafting station if you have Dream Solvent.
You can get Recruit’s Insignia and higher-tier variants of the resource by beating Fatui enemies that you can find in the open world. Once you have the base resource, you can convert them into the higher-tier ones. You can get Crown of Insight from events and by leveling up the Shrine tree in Inazuma.
Best Genshin Impact Xinyan Build
Leveling up Xinyan and upgrading her talents is not going to be enough. In order to make the most of the unit, you will need the right weapon and artifacts. The following is the build that we recommend for Xinyan in Genshin Impact.
Best Weapons
If you are going for a Physical Burst DPS then we can recommend the Skyward Pride. This is a 5-star weapon so you do need to spend your Primogems on the weapons banner in order to get it. The weapon has energy recharge as the bonus stat and it increases all damage by 8%. When you use your elemental burst attack, normal and charged attacks create a vacuum blade that deals 80% of attack as damage to nearby enemies. This lasts for 20 seconds or 8 vacuum blades.
Snow-Tombed Starsilver is another weapon that we can recommend. It has physical damage bonus as the bonus stat which is ideal for a physical DPS build. Furthermore, attacking an enemy with a normal or changed attack has a 60% charge of forming and dropping an Icicle on the enemy. This does 80% AoE attack damage. Enemies that are affected by Cryo deal 200% attack damage. This can only occur once every 10 seconds.
Prototype Archaic is a great 4-star craftable weapon, so you can get refinements for free. When you attack normal and charged attacks have a 50% chance of dealing 240% attack damage to enemies in a small area of effect. This can only occur once every 15 seconds.
If you are going for a support build and want to make the most of the shield ability then we can recommend The Unforged. It has attack% as the bonus stat and it increases shield strength by 20%. When you attack an enemy, your attack is increased by 4% for 8 seconds and this can stack up to 5 times. While you are protected by a shield, the attack increase buff is increased by 100%.
If you are a low spender then you can get the Serpent Spine via the battle pass. It has crit rate as the bonus stat and it increases damage by 6% and damage taken by 3% every 4 seconds the character is on the field. This can stack up to 5 times.
The Bell is another great weapon that we can recommend. It has HP as the bonus stat and when you take damage a shield is produced that absorbs up to 20% of your max HP. The shield can last up to 10 seconds if it is not broken. It can be triggered once every 45 seconds. While protected by the shield, attack is increased by 12%.
Best Artifacts
If you are going for a physical burst DPS build then we recommend 2-pieces of the Noblesse Oblige set and 2-pieces of the Bloodstained Chivalry set. This is going to increase elemental burst damage by 20% and physical damage by 25%. You should have attack% on the sands, physical damage bonus on the cup and crit rate or crit damage on the hat.
If you are going for a support build and want to make the most of the shield ability then we can recommend the Emblem of Severed Fate set. With 4 pieces of this set on, you get an energy recharge buff of 20% and your elemental burst damage is increased by 25% of your energy recharge. Max of 75% damage buff can be gained in this way. You should have attack% on the sands, physical damage bonus on the cup and crit rate or crit damage on the hat.
