Genshin Impact Xingqiu Ascension And Talent Materials

Ascension Materials
You need the following ascension materials in order to level up Xingqiu to 90:
- 1x Varunada Lazurite Sliver
- 9x Varunada Lazurite Fragment
- 9x Varunada Lazurite Chunk
- 6x Varunada Lazurite Gemstone
- 46x Cleansing Heart
- 168x Silk Flower
- 18x Damaged Mask
- 30x Stained Mask
- 36x Ominous Mask
Other than that, you are also going to need 414 Hero’s Witt and 420,000 Mora. You can get Varunada Lazurite Slivers and higher-tier variants of the resource from the Oceanid boss. Once you have the base materials, you can convert them into the higher-tier ones at the crafting station. Cleansing Heart is also dropped from the Oceanid. Taking on the boss each time requires plenty of Resin, so you will need to keep that in mind. You can get Transient Resin or Fragile Resin in order to make the process of farming these boss materials faster.
Silk Flower can be found in Liyue. Some great spots to find the flower is near Wangshu Inn and Yujing Terrace. Damaged Mask and higher-tier variants of the resource can be farmed by beating Hilichurls. Once you have the base resource, you can convert it into the higher-tier variants at the crafting station.

The following are the talent materials that you need in order to upgrade all of Xingqiu’s talents:

- 3x Crown of Insight
Tail of Boreas can be earned by completing the Wolf of the North weekly challenge. You can only get rewards from this challenge once a week, so this can take a while. If you have other drops from this challenge then you can convert them into Tail of Boreas at the crafting station by using Dream Solvent. Crown of Insight can be earned via special events or by leveling up the shrine tree in Inazuma.
Best Genshin Impact Xingqiu Build
Leveling up Xingqiu to the max and upgrading his talents is not going to be enough. You also need to get the right weapon and artifacts for him in order to make the most of the unit. The following is the build that we recommend for Xingqiu.
Best Weapons
If you are going for a sub-DPS build, then we recommend going with the Sacrificial Sword. This has a chance to cancel the cooldown on the elemental skill. This allows you to spam the elemental skill as much as possible. Refining the weapon increases the chance of canceling the elemental skill cooldown.
Festering Desire is another weapon that we can recommend. It has energy recharge as the bonus stat and it increases elemental skill damage by 16% and elemental skill crit rate by 6%.
We can also recommend the Iron Sting. It has elemental mastery as the bonus stat and when you deal elemental damage, all damage types are increased by 6% for 6 seconds. This can stack up to 2 times.
If you are going for a burst sub-DPS build then Skyward Blade is the best option that we can recommend. It has energy recharge as the bonus stat and it increases crit rate by 4%. When you use your elemental burst, movement and attack speed are increased by 10% while normal and charged attack damage is increased by 20% for 12 seconds.
Festering Desire and Sacrificial Sword are great alternatives if you are going for a burst sub-DPS build.
Best Artifacts
If you are going for a sub-DPS build then we recommend using 2-pieces of the Noblesse Oblige set and 2-pieces of the Heart of Depth set. This is going to increase your hydro damage bonus by 15% and increase your elemental burst damage by 20%. Remember to get energy recharge on the sands, hydro damage bonus on the goblet, and crit rate or crit damage on the hat.
If you are going for a burst sub-DPS build then we can recommend the Emblem of Severed Fate set. This is going to increase your energy recharge by 20% and increases your elemental burst damage by 25% of your energy recharge. You can get a max of 75% bonus damage this way. Remember to get energy recharge on the sands, hydro damage bonus on the goblet, and crit rate or crit damage on the hat.
