Baal is the Electro Archon or the Raiden Shogun. She is one of the most badass characters that we have seen in the game so far. Ascension And Talent Materials You Need To Max Level Baal In Genshin Impact
The following are all the resources and materials that you are going to need in order to level up Baal to 90 and upgrade her talents:
Ascension Materials
You will need the following resources in order to level up Baal to 90:
- 1x Vajrada Amethyst Sliver
- 9x Vajrada Amethyst Fragment
- 9x Vajrada Amethyst Chunk
- 6x Vajrada Amethyst Gemstone
- 46x Storm Beads
- 168x Tenkumo Fruit
- 18x Old Handguard
- 30x Kageuchi Handguard
- 36x Famed Handguard
Storm Beads and Tenkumo Fruit are resources that are not farmable at the time of writing this guide. They should be added to the game once update 2.1 goes live. You can farm Handguard by defeating samurai enemies that you can find all over Inazuma.
Talent Materials
You will need the following talent materials to upgrade all of Baal’s talents:
- 9x Teachings of Light
- 63x Guide to Light
- 114x Philosophies of Light
- 18x Old Handguard
- 66x Kageuchi Handguard
- 93x Famed Handguard
- 18x Crimson Witch (New Boss Drop)
- Crown of Insight
Crown of Insight is exclusive to events and you can get one by participating in the events, getting the event currency, and then exchanging it for the Crown of Insight. You get one per event. There is a new boss coming in update 2.1 and you will get the new boss drop material from it.
Baal Build: Weapons And Artifacts In Genshin Impact
The following is the build that we recommend for Baal in Genshin Impact:
Weapons
Grasscutter’s Light is the new 5-star polearm which is going to be one of the best weapons for Baal. This is a 5-star weapon so you are going to have to wish for it on the weapons banner when the 2.1 update goes live.
If you wished on the previous weapons banner then Skyward Spine is also a great option as it increases crit rate by 8% and also increases normal attack speed by 12%. It also has a great AoE perk that can be triggered when you attack enemies.
Primordial Jade Winged-Spear is another great 5-star weapon that you can use on Baal. This increases attack damage. When it comes to the 4-star weapons we can recommend the Favonius Lance. Critical hits with this weapon generate elemental particles that regenerate energy.
Artifacts
We recommend the new Emblem of Severed Fate that was added as part of Genshin Impact 2.0. The 2 piece set increases energy recharge by 15% and the 4 pieces increase elemental burst damage by 25% of energy recharge. You can increase a max bonus of 75%.
You can also choose to go with 2 pieces of the Thundering Fury set and 2 pieces of the Noblesse Oblige set. Thundering Fury is going to give you a 15% electro damage bonus and Noblesse Oblige is going to give you a 20% elemental burst damage bonus.
We recommend energy recharge on sands, electro damage bonus on the cup, and critical damage or critical rate on the crown.
