Elden Ring has a couple of different classes that you can choose from. While the class system is pretty fluid and you can respec, later on, the Prophet is great if you are interested in a faith build as it has very high starting faith and mind. In this Elden Ring guide, we are going to go over the best build for the Prophet class.
The prophet works great if you are interested in using weapons that use faith. With that in mind, this is not the only stat that you should focus on. You should spend a few points in vigor in order to increase your max health.
We also recommend spending a few points in mind to increase your max FP so that you have enough of it for skills, sorceries, and incantations.
Best Build For Prophet Class In Elden Ring
When you start the game you will have the Catch Flame Incantation which is actually recommended to use early on but we also recommend getting the Dragonfire which works better when you are dealing with a couple of enemies.
Catch Flame is decent too but it is not ideal when dealing with numerous enemies at the same time. Dragonfire can be obtained from the Church of the Dragon Communion. You will need a Dragon Heart in order to get it.
You will need 12 Arcane in order to use the incantation but that is not going to be too hard for a Prophet since the class starts off with 7 points in Arcane.
Using these incantations is going to drain a lot of FP. So we recommend investing some points into vigor and mind. This is going to increase your survivability. You should also increase your flask charges in order to be able to refresh your FP.
Sword Of Night And Flame Build
The Sword of Night and Flame is very cool and while it has been nerfed, it is still a decent faith weapon. Plus you can get it relatively early on in the game. The only drawback is that you will need 24 Intelligence in order to use it.
You can use the sword with the Meteorite Staff early on but once you have progressed enough we recommend using the Prince of Death’s Staff instead. The cool thing about the Sword of Night and Flame is that it has two skills. You can use it fire attack to deal damage to a group of enemies but if you are fighting a boss then you can use the beam attack.
If you are switching to this build then you should already have plenty of points invested in vigor, faith, and mind. All you need to do is meet the intelligence requirement.
Treespear Build
This is the Prophet build that we recommend using in the later stages of Elden Ring. The Treespear can be buffed with Sacred Order or Electrify Armament in order to deal holy of electric damage. The weapon already comes with Sacred Order but you can use Golden Vow to make things even more interesting.
You should pair the spear with a shield that can use Barricade Shield. This is going to reduce the amount of stamina that is consumed when blocking. We also recommend the Lightning Spear incantation which is ideal against enemies that are flying.
