Division 2 has a couple of very cool exotic weapons. We have looked into some of them but in this guide, we are going to walk you through how you can unlock Diamondback in The Division 2.
Before we get into how you can get the weapon, let us look into the talents of the exotic rifle. The following are all the talents of Diamondback that you need to know about:
The Diamondback will randomly mark an enemy by default. Shooting the marked enemy guarantees a critical hit with +20% damage. The weapon will then mark another enemy. Marks also change whenever you reload.
After you’ve hit five marked enemies you’ll gain 50% reload speed, 20% total damage, and 10 seconds of guaranteed critical hits. The count is reset if you miss a shot.
While the weapon is drawn, you gain 20% bonus armor for three seconds. While holsters, each time you reload/cycle your current weapon you gain 8% bonus armor for two seconds.
Now that we have gone over the talents of the weapon, we can go over how you can actually get it in the game.
How To Get Diamondback In The Division 2
To unlock the exotic rifle, you need to complete the first expedition. These are a new type of PVE event in which you investigate a series of themed areas. You will have to defeat enemies and you will find new loot as well.
The expedition in episode 1 is called Convoy. You can play it right now. all three stages of The Convoy are available: Kenly Library, Kenly Metro Station, and Kenly Student Union. You need to complete all these stages in order to get Diamondback.
Note that expeditions rotate so you might not be able to get it all the time. Be sure to play The Convoy expedition in order to get the gun.
