Destiny 2 Chroma Rush Guide: How To Get

Destiny 2 Chroma Rush

Destiny 2 has received the new season, Season of the Splicer. It brings new quests, weapons, and armor. One of these new additions is the legendary rifle, Chroma Rush. This Destiny 2 guide will include all the details regarding stats, perks, and how to get Chroma Rush.

How to Get Chroma Rush in Destiny 2 Season of the Splicer

The Chroma Rush is a medium ranged rifle that can fire at 720 RPM. The accuracy of the rifle is outstanding and is a must to get.

Stats

Chroma Rush has 18 Impact, 45 Recoil, and 52 Reload Speed. It has a range of 32 and a Handling of 42. Its Zoom is 16, Inventory Size is 54, and Rounds per Minute are 720. The Magazine Size of the rife is 51 with an Aim Assistance of 80.

Perks

There are a lot of perks that can go with the rifle. You can choose any of the following to suit your playstyle.

Perk 1
For the first perk, we recommend going Subsistence or Feeding Frenzy. Subsistence is good when you do not like reloading too much. Feeding Frenzy is a perk that synergizes well with both Rampage and Kill Clip.

Perk 2
We recommend going Rampage and Kill Clip for the second perk. If you go Subsistence on the first perk, then taking Kill Clip is not very great. However, both of these perks are good with Feeding Frenzy.

If you are deciding to go for PvP, we recommend going Hammer-Forged Rifiling, Accurized Rounds, or Corkscrew Rifling for the first perk and Dynamic Sway ReductionRampage, or Thresh for the second perk.

How to get it

First, you need to complete the “Beneath the Great Machine” quest. After that, you require two things for Chroma Rush, Umbral Engrams, and Decrypted Data. Acquiring Umbral Engrams is easy as you can get them from any activity in the game.

Once you have a decent amount, you need to make your way to the H.E.L.M and the Umbral Recaster. Here you will require 25 Decrypted to turn the Umbral Engram into a Splicer Armory Engram. Once you get Splicer Armory or Splicer Gear engrams, you can decrypt them to obtain Chroma Rush. The drop rate is not 100%, and you will have to retry a few times.
