Borderlands 3 Vehicles Guide: How To Use, Unlock And Hijack Vehicles

Borderlands 3 Vehicles

Borderlands 3 has plenty of vehicles that you can use in order to explore the world around you. In this Borderlands 3 vehicles guide, we are going to cover, how you can unlock, use and hijack vehicles in the game.

What You Need To Know About Vehicles In Borderlands 3

You get access to vehicles pretty early on in the game. In order to access and use them, you need to complete the Cult Following main mission and defeat Shiv, the first boss in the game. This will unlock the first vehicle in the game.

Once you have done that the Catch-A-Ride stations will be unlocked and you can use these stations to summon vehicles. Not only that, but you can also even hijack or steal vehicles from the enemy. Wait for the enemy vehicle to slow down or hit something. When that happens you can get close and press the interaction button to throw the driver out and steal the vehicle.

If a vehicle has a shooter on the back then the shooter will leave the vehicle when you hijack it. You can choose to shoot the enemy, run him over, or just ignore him. Now you need to head back to the Catch-A-Ride station and leave the stolen vehicle on the rectangle. This will save the stolen vehicle and you will be able to summon it from any of the Catch-A-Ride stations in the game.
