Borderlands 3 Anointed Gear Guide: How To Get Anointed Gear

Borderlands 3 Anointed Gear

Borderlands 3 has a gear rarity called Anointed Gear. Anointed Gear pieces have a special Anointed Perk. This piece can be a shield, weapon, or anything else. In this Borderlands 3 guide, we are going to go over how you can get Anointed Gear.

Note that while some Anointed Gear is generic, there are pieces that can be specific to a certain class. The Pneumatic Banstick shotgun for example has an Anointed Perk that is specific to Beastermaster which means that it can only be activated by FL4K. The perk grants FL4K accuracy and handling buffs while Fade Away is active.

It is worth mentioning that the class-specific anointed gear will reflect the vault hunter’s abilities and class. Which is one of the reasons why you will want to get this special gear in the endgame.

How To Get Anointed Gear In Borderlands 3

An easy way of getting Anointed Gear is checking out the Veteran Rewards Vending Machine on Sanctuary. You can find it close to Crazy Earl In the Cargo Bay of the ship. You will need Eridium in order to get the gear. If you are interested in learning about Eridium then you can check out our Eridium farming guide.

Anointed Gear can be found via the endgame modes. You should complete the mains campaign before getting into the Anointed Gear farming. This is rare loot so getting it is going to cost you time, effort and eridium. So keep that in mind.
