Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Hidden blade Guide: How To Get

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Hidden blade

The hidden blade has been an iconic weapon in Assassin’s Creed games and it makes a comeback in Valhalla. It can be used for stealth takedowns but as you are a Viking, you do not have it from the start. In this guide, we are going to walk you through how you can get the hidden blade in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

How To Get Hidden Blade In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

The hidden blade is a weapon of the assassin’s and because you are playing as a Viking, you are not going to have it from the start and you will have to get it from the Assassins. You will meet the assassins as part of the main mission The Prodigal Prince.

The mission takes place pretty early on in the game so you really do not have to wait all that long before you meet with the assassins for the first time. They will come with Sigurd. When Sigurd returns, there will be a feast and at the feast, he will give you a gift which is the hidden blade.

The assassins Basim and Hytham are not really going to approve of this but they are not going to have much of a say in the matter. Once you get the weapon there is a tutorial and the game will guide you on how to use the weapon. If you have played previous Assassin’s Creed games then it is going to be very familiar. If not then you can learn from the tutorial and get some practice when you sneak up on enemies.

Note that in older titles, the hidden blade can instantly kill an opponent. That is not the case in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. If the level of the enemy is much higher than Eivor then the blade will deal significant damage but will not kill the target.

This is how you can get the hidden blade in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. If you are interested in learning more about the game then you can check out our guide on where you can find all the Zealots in the game.
