How To Dual Wield Weapons In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Dual Wield

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla allows you to use two weapons at the same time. There are plenty of weapons and weapon combinations that you can check out. Dual wielding is also one of the options that you can try and explore but it is not the same for all kinds of weapons. In this Assassin’s Creed Valhalla guide, we are going to walk you through how you can dual wield weapons in the game.

Right off the bat, let me tell you that having two weapons rather than a weapon and a shield is not going to affect your damage output. Nor is it going to affect your attack speed. The benefit of using two weapons is that some weapons are lighter than your shield. This means that when you dodge you will use less stamina. So you will be able to dodge more often as compared to when you have a shield on you.

Dual Wield Heavy Weapons In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

You can dual wield pretty much any weapon from the start. The heavy weapons are the ones that are not possible to dual wield early on in the game. For that, you need to progress the game, level up, and then spend some points in your skill tree in order to unlock this ability.

In order to unlock the ability, you need to spend points in the melee part of the skill tree which is red. The first skill that you will unlock is Stomp. After that proceed to invest skills and move left towards Dual Swap. After that, you need to continue left and get the Adrenaline upgrade.

Once you have that you need to spend a few more points and you will get the Heavy Dual Wield skill. This is at the far end of the melee skill tree on the left side. This will allow you to dual wield heavy weapons and once you have the skill you will be able to dual wield any of the weapons in the game.
