Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Dag Boss Guide: How To Beat

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Dag

During one of the main missions on the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla; A Brewing Storm, you will come across Dag. No matter how much you pursue Dag by choosing different dialogue options, he is not going to back down from this fight. In this guide of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, we will discuss how you can win the fight against Dag.

The fight with Dag boss is one of the Sigurd Strikes, so if you are making the right choices that means you are moving towards the end of the game.

How To Beat Dag In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

When Dag enters the fight he has an axe and a shield. To win the fight against this boss, you will have to attack him on his weak points which are: his left knee, the hand in which he is holding the shield, and his right shoulder. You can bring his stamina bar down by attacking him on weak points using the bow.

Once you are able to bring the boss’s stamina bar down, you can land an R3/RS attack so he suffers a great amount of damage. Try and not to use the same attack over and over as it will leave you open to incoming attacks and leave you vulnerable.

Instead of attacking aggressively, focus on deflecting his attacks. Time your dodges in a way that you can slow time down and when you attack the boss as you will then deal critical damage.

When Dag loses a third of his health bar, he will dual-wield axes. It won’t make much of a difference, so you should focus on the same strategy. However, Dag will try to hit you more this time now. To win the boss fight, just focus on blocking, dodging, and counter-attacking.

After you have won the fight against Dag, you will now have to make a key decision. You can either give the boss his weapon back or refrain him from it. We are not going to spoil this part of the game for you.

This is how you can beat Dag in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. If you are interested in learning more about the game then you can check out our guide on how you can recruit different companions in the game.
