No Man’s Sky Might Get A Nintendo Switch Port In The Future

No Man's Sky Switch Port

No Man’s Sky was a bit off when it first came out but the developers have worked on making it better since then. Even as we speak the devs are working on the Beyond update that adds all kinds of new stuff to the game. The devs are interested in porting No Man’s Sky to the Nintendo Switch as well.

Sean Murray is interested in porting No Man’s Sky to the Nintendo Switch. He mentioned that it might be possible in the future but right now the devs are working on the upcoming update. Here is what he had to say regarding the matter:

It’s super interesting. I love the Switch. We’re obviously very focused on what we’re doing right now, but we have done a lot of work for PSVR to optimize the game. So I’d be interested to see what’s possible. But at the moment, we’re just very focused on what we’re doing right now.

Plenty of games have been ported to the Switch. While there is no confirmation, if The Witcher 3 can be ported to the Switch then we could get one for No Man’s Sky pretty easily. The upcoming Beyond update adds plenty of things, big and small.

VR is getting updated and new content is being added to the game. Murray went on to talk about the upcoming update and here is what he had to say:

No Man’s Sky Beyond aims to bring a huge range of features together into a cohesive whole. With expanded online, virtual reality and hundreds of changes big and small. We want Beyond to be the best time for new players to pick up a copy, for lapsed players to rejoin, and for the players with a thousand hours save to see the game with fresh eyes.

Let us know what you think about No Man’s Sky and whether or not you would be interested in playing the game on the Nintendo Switch.
