No Man’s Sky Red Star System Guide: How To Visit

No Man’s Sky Red Star System

No Man’s Sky is an open-world survival game available on PlayStation, Xbox, and Microsoft Windows. No Man’s Sky has four main star systems. You can identify a system by checking the color of the star orbiting around the system. Red, Green, Yellow, and Blue are the four types you can encounter. This No Man’s Sky guide will include all the details on how you can visit a red star system and what things you need.

How To Visit A Red Star System In No Man’s Sky

You can visit a red star system at any point of your exploration. However, you will need a Cadmium Drive on your starship’s warp drive. This will allow you to visit the red star system only. You can find these drives or much rarer resources in these star systems. Install the Cadmium Drive alongside your standard warp drive to go to the designated star system. Acquiring a Cadmium Drive is the tricky part.

Acquiring Cadmium Drives

The first method and the less likely one is finding a crashed starship with a Cadmium drive already installed. You can then repair this starship and use the drive and use it on your starship. This will allow you to go to any red star systems in the game. The second method is to buy the blueprint and craft it for your starship. You can buy the blueprint from vendors. Call your Anomaly and buy the blueprint from the starship merchant on the Anomaly.

Crafting A Cadmium Drive

After you acquire the blueprint, you will have to craft it using 250 Chromatic Metal and 3 Wiring Loom. You can buy and sell Wiring Loom in all Space Stations in any Galactic Terminal. To create Chromatic Metal, you will need a Refiner, fuel, and some Ferrite Dust. Refine the Ferrite Dust to make it into Chromatic Metal. Once you acquire the Chromatic Metal and Wiring Loom, you can use them both to craft a Cadmium Drive. After that, install the drive and move to the red start system.

I love supporting my team in the workspace and in Summoner's Rift. Unleashing Haymaker Grit as Sett, jumping from wall to wall as Lucio or giving shot calls as a tank in Ahn'Qiraj, supporting is what I do. I love the Soulsborne series and enjoy a good multiplayer.
