No Man’s Sky Copper Guide: How To Find

Copper is not one of the rarer resources in the game. Nevertheless, finding copper can be hard because not every planet has the resource. You need copper for a lot of things like refining Chromatic Metal. This No Man’s Sky guide will include all the details and tips on how to find copper in the game.

Tips for Finding Copper in No Man’s Sky

The first thing you can do is to open up your discovery menu. This will inform you whether the planets in your system have copper or not. If you have already discovered and scanned the planet once before, then the screen will tell you whether the elements are present on the planet or not.

After arriving at a random planet you can scan the planet for potential copper resources. You can do the scan from your ship or by using a scanning visor on the ground. This will give you a deeper scan of all of your surroundings.

If you land on a planet with a floating island, then consider yourself lucky. This is because there is a very high chance of copper being present in the area where there is a floating island. Unfortunately, not all planets have floating islands, and you will have to look for them quite a bit.

There is also a chance you can get copper resources from rock towers that you can find on some planets and moons. Whenever you see these mountains go scanning for copper around these areas. The last option you have is asteroids. Copper is present in asteroids, but it is hard to stumble across an asteroid field.

This is how you can find Copper in No Man’s Sky. If you are interested in learning more about the game then you can check out our guide on how you can get Flying Fart Fish.

I love supporting my team in the workspace and in Summoner's Rift. Unleashing Haymaker Grit as Sett, jumping from wall to wall as Lucio or giving shot calls as a tank in Ahn'Qiraj, supporting is what I do. I love the Soulsborne series and enjoy a good multiplayer.
