Code Vein has plenty of items and if you are new to the game then their function might be a bit confusing. In this Code Vein items guide, we are going to go over what each item does in the game.

What Do Different Items In Code Vein Do?

Some items can be used for buffs while others can be used to remove certain debuffs. Items like Loss Shards will help you gain Haze.

The following is what you need to know about the use of different items in Code Vein:

Loss Shard (S) An item that grants Haze when used. (100 Haze)
Loss Shard (M) An item that grants Haze when used. (300 Haze)
Loss Shard (L) An item that grants Haze when used. (600 Haze)
Condensed Loss Shard (S) An item that grants Haze when used. (1000 Haze)
Condensed Loss Shard (M) An item that grants Haze when used. (1500 Haze)
 Condensed Loss Shard (L) An item that grants Haze when used. (2000 Haze)
Loss Crystal (S) An item that grants Haze when used. (3000 Haze)
Loss Crystal (M) An item that grants Haze when used. (4000 Haze)
Loss Crystal (L) An item that grants Haze when used. (5000 Haze)
Solid Loss Crystal (S) An item that grants Haze when used. (6500 Haze)

Ichor Concentrate A small vial filled with Ichor. Using this provides a small amount of Ichor.
Bloodstained Stake Use to cause your body to disperse. Not consumed upon use, but all haze will be lost.
Needle of Unity Transports you to a location near the revenant you are cooperating with during multiplayer.
Vivifier A drug that causes temporary dispersal. It is consumed upon use but allows the user to return to the last mistle in memory without losing haze.
Chemical Light Glows dimly when the solution inside is mixed. Remains lit for a limited time after activation and can be used as a marker.
Drain Activator An ampoule containing liquid. Temporarily increases ichor gained from attacks.
Dagger A classic throwing weapon. While it does not inflict damage, it can be used for grabbing a foe’s attention.
Venom Cartridge Temporarily adds the venom status effect to the user’s current weapon.
Stun Cartridge Temporarily adds the stun status effect to the user’s current weapon
Blood Cartridge Temporarily changes the damage type of the user’s current weapon to blood.
Plasma Cartridge Temporarily changes the damage type of the user’s current weapon to lightning.
Inhibit Cartridge Temporarily adds the inhibit status effect to the user’s current weapon.
Freezing Cartridge Temporarily changes the damage type of the user’s current weapon to ice.
Stun Vaccine A concentrated medicine that temporarily increases Stun resistance.
Antifreeze Tonic A small bottle of fermented liquid. Temporarily increases resistance to ice.
Fireproof Tonic A small bottle of fermented liquid. Temporarily increases resistance to fire.
Venom Vaccine A concentrated medicine that temporarily increases Venom resistance.
Slow Vaccine A concentrated medicine that temporarily increases Slow resistance.
Anti-stun Medicine that cures stun. Can block the effect if used before being afflicted.
Ichor Coagulant Medicine that cures leak. Can block the effect is used before being afflicted. Causes slowly drained ichor to be stored inside the body.
Antivenom Medicine that cures venom. Can block the effect if used before being afflicted.
Anti-slow Medicine that cures slow.
Anti-inhibit Medicine that cures Inhibit.
Blood Maker Glows dimly when the solution inside is mixed with revenant’s blood. Due to the bound in blood, it can always show its position to its owner from afar.
Murasame’s Ichor Blend A drug made from Murasame’s blood mixed with Lost ichor. Using it increases the maximum amount of ichor that can be held.
Coco’s Ichor Blend A drug made from Coco’s blood mixed with Lost ichor. Using it increases the maximum amount of ichor that can be held.
Regen Inducer A medicine created through revenant research. It causes the body to regenerate.
Regen Extension Factor Medicine that permanently increases the number of times regeneration can be used.
Regen Activation Factor Medicine that permanently enhances regenerative power.
Sound Suppressor A small, ordinary-looking pill. Temporarily muffles sound produced by the user.
RV Mastery (120) A drug that grants the Gift “Flame Protection”, regardless of the user’s blood code.
RV Mastery (121) A drug that grants the Gift “Ice Armor”, regardless of the user’s blood code.
RV Mastery (101) A drug that grants the gift “Tenacious Fang”, regardless of the user’s blood code.
RV Mastery (102) A drug that grants the gift “Ice Buff”, regardless of the user’s blood code.
RV Mastery (103) A drug that grants the gift “Lightning Buff”, regardless of the user’s blood code.
RV Mastery (104) A drug that grants the gift “Blood Buff”, regardless of the user’s blood code.
RV Mastery (105) A drug that grants the gift “Lightning Barrage”, regardless of the user’s blood code.

Pure Blood A medicine developed during Project QUEEN. It causes the body to regenerate. Grants Ichor.
Gift Accelerator A small, relatively regular-looking drug. It activates blood flow, temporarily reducing the time required to use gifts.
Stamina Booster Medicine in a lightweight ampoule for portability. Temporarily stimulates awareness, which allows the user to work under great strain.
Stamp: Praise 02 An item that grants use of the “Praise 02” stamp.
Gesture: Praise An item that grants use of the “Praise” gesture.
Stamp: Apologies 03 An item that grants use of the “Apologize 03” Stamp
RV Mastery (124) A drug that grants the gift “Charisma”, regardless of the user’s blood code.
RV Mastery (123) A drug that grants the gift “Vigorous Zeal”, regardless of the user’s blood code.
RV Mastery (122) A drug that grants the gift “Modest Offering”, regardless of the user’s blood code.
Knight Monarch’s Essence Medicine that leaves you with 1 HP if you receive fatal damage when your HP is over a certain amount.
