Seven SHD Tech Caches can also be collected while exploring the Downtown East area featured in Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, the third-person shooter videogame developed by Massive Entertainment for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The Downtown East SHD Tech Caches contain SHD Tech Points which allow you to unlock new Perks and to upgrade your agent’s Skills at the Base of Operation; therefore you should try to collect immediately after those in the White House area.
Using our guide below, you can easily find all SHD Tech Caches in the Downtown East neighborhood.
Once you have all of them, make sure you return to Coop Dennison at the White House and spend the SHD Tech Points to improve your agent by upgrading the skills or by purchasing new perks.
Downtown East SHD Tech Caches Locations
The following map shows all The Division 2 SHD Tech Caches in the Downtown East area.
SHD Tech Cache 1
The first SHD Tech Cache can be found in the inner courtyard of a large building east of District Union Arena Stronghold.
Look for it by a window with a blue cover, behind a large metal pillar.
SHD Tech Cache 2
The next SHD Caches on our Division 2 map above sits on the ground in a construction yard. Look for it in the corner, on a pile of garbage.
Nearby you should spot a red excavator.
SHD Tech Cache 3
Another SHD Tech Cache in Downtown East can be found in a building west of The Theater Settlement.
Once you reach the location on our map check the building’s hallway and you’ll see it on the ground next to a shelf.
SHD Tech Cache 4
The fourth Division 2 SHD Tech Cache in Downtown East is on a roof. To get there you can use the two ladders in the back alley.
This location is a spawning point for Gang Members protecting Supply Drops.
Once you get to the roof, you’ll see the SHD Cache on the ground near some enclosed generators.
SHD Tech Cache 5
Several steps south from the previous Tech Cache is another one.
Look for it in the market area, next to a white chair.
Nearby you can see a wall with multiple posters showing missing persons.
SHD Tech Cache 6
Fairly easy to find this SHD Tech Cache is located in a fenced area.
Look for it in a back alley, and shoot the yellow padlock to get inside the enclosure. Near the cache, you will also find a weapon box.
SHD Tech Cache 7
Just like the previous one, the seventh Tech Cache is in an enclosed area. Look for it west of Fallen Cranes Control Point next to an underground entrance.
The cache sits behind the Simple Math Dead Drop Comm Collectible.
In the back alley, you can also see a police car.
