Mass Effect Andromeda Console Commands Guide: All Console Commands

Mass Effect Andromeda Console Commands

The Frost Bite engine allows you to use console commands and the same is the case with Mass Effect Andromeda. This allows players to enable or disable features of the game that you cannot access from the menu or settings of the game. In this Mass Effect Andromeda Console Commands guide, we are going to go over all the console commands and how you can use them.

Mass Effect Andromeda Console Commands

You can press the “~” key to bring up the console window. This is where you will enter the different console commands. Before we go into the whole list of console commands, let’s look into some of the most useful ones and how you can use them permanently.

GameTime.MaxVariableFps – Caps off your FPS with a float value for less screen tearing.

PerfOverlay.DrawFps – Activate the game’s built-in FPS overlay.

UI.DrawEnable – By using 0 or 1, you can to enable or disable the on-screen user interface.

Making A Configuration File

You need to enter console commands each time you start up the game. If you want to avoid having to do that each and every time, you can make a configuration file for Mass Effect Andromeda. What you need to do is open Notepad and copy-paste the console commands that you want to remain active each time you launch the game.

Once you have done that you need to save the file under “user.cfg” in the directory of the game which is “C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect Andromeda” by default. Down the line, if you want to disable certain console commands then you can simply open up this file and remove the command from the file.
