How To Kill A Scorcher In Horizon Zero Dawn
The body of the Scorcher is not weak towards anything but it is not strong against anything as well. So we do not recommend firing at the body. Use your focus in order to scan the machine and find the weak spots.
Once you have done that, you will find the Mine Launcher. Shooting this with tear arrows will remove the weapon from the machine so that it cannot use it against you. Then you can pick it up and shoot mines at the machine while the ammo lasts. The Mine Launcher can do a lot of damage.
You will also see that the machine has a Blaze Canister which is also a weak spot. You can shoot at it with Tear arrows or Fire arrows. Shoot at it with Fire arrows in order to trigger an explosion and deal high amounts of damage. If you use Tear arrows, then the component will be removed and then you can pick it up.
The Power Generator is yet another weak point of the machine. You can use Tear arrows in order to deal a high amount of damage. These are the three weak points that you should be aiming for if you want to take out the Scorcher as quickly as possible.
