Bassus is the second boss that you are going to encounter while playing the campaign of Halo Infinite. You need specific equipment in order to beat the boss and dodge his attacks. In this Halo Infinite guide, we are going to walk you through how you can beat Bassus.
Before you take on the boss, we recommend spending some time and getting Spartan Cores that you can use to upgrade your gear. You can do this by exploring the open world between different missions. You can find 8 Spartan Cores on the first island.
How To Beat Bassus In Halo Infinite
Once the encounter with Bassus starts, he is going to start charging at you with his gravity hammer. If the game difficulty is high enough, the boss can kill you with a single blow of the hammer. You can use Grappleshot to quickly move around the arena and avoid getting hit by the hammer.
Combine the Grappleshot dodges with long-range attacks in order to deal damage to the boss. The boss has a shield that regenerates if you do not attack the boss for a specific amount of time. So you should try and attack the boss frequently in order to keep his shield down. You can deplete his shield and deal damage to his health with explosives as well.
Once the shield is down, you can continue dealing damage and dodging with the Grappleshot. Plasma weapons work best on shields and Kinetic weapons are great for depleting the health of the boss. Aim for his head in order to deal the most damage.
