Every Final Fantasy has a way of increasing your money and experience. The same is the case in Final Fantasy 7 Remake. This Final Fantasy 7 Remake Episode Intermission guide will include all the details on how to get the EXP Up and Gil Up Materia orbs.

Getting the EXP Up and Gil Up Materia in FFVII Remake Episode INTERmission

In Chapter 2, during the mission where Yuffie and Sonan infiltrate Shinra HQ, you will find yourself trapped in the Advanced Weaponry basement. You have to progress forward until you reach the room with the SOLDIER training program. You will see multiple boxes, and you will have to hit these boxes within a limited time to stack points. After completing the basic program, you will have to complete the SOLDIER program. This is much tougher as the time limit is less now.

How the program works is that you have to deal with Physical damage to any orange boxes that pop out. Next, you need to use Majic damage and ninjustu on the purple boxes. Finally, white boxes need to be hit by special abilities. In between all these boxes, there will be red boxes that will increase the timer.

It would be best if you hit the box with the correct attack, or else you will waste time. This will cause you to lose valuable points. You can also use the lock-on feature that will allow you to hit boxes easier. Once you rack up 30,000 points, you will get the Gil Up materia. Acquiring 50,000 points will get you the EXP Up materia.

I love supporting my team in the workspace and in Summoner's Rift. Unleashing Haymaker Grit as Sett, jumping from wall to wall as Lucio or giving shot calls as a tank in Ahn'Qiraj, supporting is what I do. I love the Soulsborne series and enjoy a good multiplayer.
