Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade Scarlet Boss Guide: How To Beat

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Scarlet

Scarlet is the director of Advanced Weaponry at Shinra. Scarlet is one of the bosses in the Yuffie’s DLC. She operates a robot called Crimson Mare and will face you in the Shinra Building. This Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade guide will include all the details on how to defeat Scarlet.

How to defeat Scarlet in Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade

Defeating Scarlet is necessary as you need the Ultimate Materia that Wutai requires in the War against Shinra. Your fight with her can be divided into four phases.

Phase 1

The boss is weak against Lightning Attacks, so you need to make the most out of it. The boss has both close and long-ranged attacks, which she can use to her advantage. She will soon attack you with Bullet Barrage, where she will shoot bullets at you. After that, she will use Flame Spire that will make areas flammable. You can dodge these abilities by simply going to the right and dashing towards her to get into close range.

Scarlet will soon spawn Sentry Rays deal with them to be greeted by Sentry Launchers. To deal with these, you will have to let Yuffie take down the Sentry Launchers while Sonon deals with Crimson Mare. When she is almost about to lose 25% of her hp, she will use her Directive Cover Fire, making her swords be covered in flames. You need to wait out the flames and attack once the flames go out.

Phase 2

In the second phase, she will go back and change her weapons to Mekacanons. She will use Makocannon Beam, which you can dodge pretty easily. After dodging it, make your way to the Mare to deal damage to the canons as she will not be able to move for a few seconds. After this, she will use her Makocannon Missiles, which you can dodge the same way you did for the beam. Deal damage to her after her attack.

Phase 3

In the third phase of the fight, near 50% hp, she will switch her weapons again. This time she will change them to a Claymore and a shield. Your main focus will be her Claymore. However, do not go with the intent of parrying her attacks. Just deal as much lightning damage as you can to her, and soon enough, her hp bar will go down to 0%.

Phase 4

In the last phase of the fight, as the hp bar touches 0%, she will revive the Mare using Revivify. You need to focus on Scarlet now and not the Mare to get out of the Mare. She will try to use rocket missiles but will soon fall. You will be rewarded 61 SP and Time Materia after the cutscene plays out.

I love supporting my team in the workspace and in Summoner's Rift. Unleashing Haymaker Grit as Sett, jumping from wall to wall as Lucio or giving shot calls as a tank in Ahn'Qiraj, supporting is what I do. I love the Soulsborne series and enjoy a good multiplayer.
