For example, if you have two pistols then the pistol ammo is going to finish really quickly. It is better to have a pistol and an SMG rather than two weapons that use the same kind of ammo. When you have unlocked all the weapon slots then you can equip an assault rifle, a sniper, an SMG and a heavy weapon. This way you are not going to run out of ammo any time soon.
Check Your Mail For New Weapons
You will get weapons in your mail so be sure to check your mail often. Weapons manufacturers in the game really want your business and they will keep tabs on your achievements. When you hit a certain milestone, weapon makers will send you new weapons. These can be found in your mail. So check your mail for new weapons.
Use The Environment
Some objects in the environment can be used to your advantage. Barrels can explode and do some serious damage. Other objects allow you to shoot through them as well.
Refilling Ammo Instantly
You can visit the ammo dump vending machine to top up your ammo instantly. It is going to cost you money depending on how low you are on ammo.
Check For Alternate Fire Modes
Some weapons have alternate fire modes. Your assault rifle could also act like a shotgun in its alternate firing mode.
You Can Take The Vehicles You Come Across
Vehicles are a much faster way of exploring the vast world of Borderlands 3. You can quickly hijack any vehicle that you see even if enemies have it and are using it.
Equip Class Mods
Class mods are specific to classes. These give you special bonuses. You can use these to access abilities that you have not invested in yet.
Choosing Correct Elemental Damage Type
Your guns can do different types of elemental damage. There are five types of elemental damage in the game, Incendiary, Shock, Corrosive, Cryo, and Radiation. Choosing the right one against the right enemies will do huge amounts of damage. For example, Corrosive will melt through Armor denoted by yellow health bars.
Fight For Your Life
If you are down then you have a couple of seconds to kill an enemy to get back on the field. Remember to reposition yourself during Fight For Your Life. You will need a clear line of sight to take out an enemy and get back on the field.
Use The New Mark Target Action
You can mark enemies, loot, chests or an interesting location on the map with this new feature.
You Can Fast Travel From Anywhere
Until previous games, you can now fast travel from anywhere. If you have discovered a fast travel station then you can fast travel there from anywhere.
Mayhem Mode Is Great Challenge After The Campaign
Once you have completed the main story, you can head over to the Mayhem Mode. This will ensure that the missions are challenging. You can unlock this mode by completing all the main story missions.
