Lavender Crawly is one of the bosses that you need to beat in Borderlands 3. You need to beat this boss for Sir Hammerlock. How To Beat Lavender Crawly In Borderlands 3
In The Droughts’ region, you can find the lair of the boss, Lavender Crawly. It is impossible to get there on a vehicle because of the blockades and narrows, so you have to get there on foot. This is one of the Legendary Hunts of the Hammerlock, which is, Crew Challenges.
After you have arrived at the lair of the monster, the hero will be contacted by Sir Hammerlock. Once the fight starts with Lavender Crawly, which is a level 8 monster, expect monsters from level 9 and 10 to start appearing as well. Try and not begin the encounter with Lavender Crawly and others using a weak character (level 6 and below), because it will get extremely difficult to win the fight against these monsters. Instead, you can level your character up by doing different side quests, such as The Droughts, etc.
This boss has the ability of not only dealing with the elemental damage but can also seamlessly move in the arena. It is advised to stay at a safe distance from him. When you see the boss performing his charge-like attack, try moving sideways as quickly as you can.
In order to weaken the boss, you should be able to use weapons that allow you to quickly destroy your enemy’s armor. You can also use any of the regular weapons, but that will only make the fight longer.
Just when the boss is about to be killed, he is going to hide in a cocoon type thing. This will not be the first, or the last time this will happen during this fight. Also expect new mini-bosses to appear as well in the area, such as Matty Crawly, Cybil Crawly, Martha Crawly, Bobby Crawly, Edie Crawly and Kira Crawly.
Every new boss is going to be smaller than Lavender Crawly but going to be more experienced because of their higher levels such as 9th and 10th. Their attacks have the ability to do a lot more damage, so do not underestimate these monsters.
Try focusing your attacks on a single mini-boss at a time. They should be faster to kill as they have short and normal red health bars.
After all the mini-bosses that come out of the cocoon are killed, you will be able to win the fight. Try going to all the dead bodies of the killed monsters, as it will allow you to gather a lot of loot, rare weapons and Eridium.
