Borderlands 3 Golden Keys And Shift Codes
Golden Keys are unique keys in the game that can be used to open special golden chests. The number of golden keys that you have is displayed at the bottom of your inventory in your backpack section. Right on top of the money that you have.
Golden Keys cannot be obtained as loot. these can only be obtained by redeeming Shift Codes. These are codes that unlock items. These can only be entered by members of the shift service.
To redeem a shift code and get a golden key in Borderlands 3, you need to open the pause menu and go into the social tab. Go to the shift tab. If you already have a shift account then you can log right in.
After you are logged in you will see the shift code many. This is where you can enter the code and redeem rewards. While shift codes are mainly used for golden keys, you can also get other rewards such as cosmetics items like skins for weapons and headwear.
SHiFT Codes are provided primarily by Gearbox Software through social media sites. You should follow the different Gearbox social media accounts in order to get a chance of getting these codes. The following are the codes that we know about:

Once you have redeemed the code, go to the social menu and the mail tab. This is where you will find the rewards. You will need to manually accept the rewards.
Once you have the golden key, you can open golden chests. One is located on Sanctuary. Note that once you have used a golden key it cannot be used again. So if you want to open another golden chest then you will need another golden key.
Items that you get from the golden chest will be similar to your character level. So do not use all the keys at the start of the campaign. Wait until you reach level 50 in order to make the most of the loot.
