Before we head into how you can beat the Agonizer 9000 in Borderlands 3, we are going to go over some tips and tricks regarding the encounter that you should keep in mind when the boss.
Firstly, you need to keep moving around in order to avoid getting damage. If you move around then it is going to be harder for the boss to hit you. The less damage you take the safer you are going to be the and the longer you will be able to survive.
You can avoid the spikey board by running out of the hit zone but keep in mind that this is not going to work all the time. Luckily, you can configure your build so that you regen health and shield fairly quickly. This move is not going to one-shot you, so you should be able to survive.
The Agonizer 9000 has a few weak spots that you should be aiming for in order to deal the most damage. These weak points are placed all over its body as red tanks. The red glowing eyes are weak points as well.
For this encounter, we recommend not using weapons that have scopes. Use hip fire in order to see around you better. Many of the boss attacks require you to look around and that is not possible when you are using scopes on your weapons.
The boss is going to throw a large saw from its chest. You can avoid this attack by jumping over it or crouching. Another of its attacks makes the floor flash red and light on fire. To avoid this move you need to head over to any area that its not glowing red.
When you take down the armor of the boss, you will notice that the boss has a purple core on its stomach. The boss you shoot a laser from this core. You can avoid this by moving out of the way,
