How to defeat Hoof Puff Boss in Biomutant
Noko will mark the location of Hoof Puff on your map. The boss is in the northwestern part of the map. The way can be long and tiresome. However, you can ride on Mjut, which will make your way to the boss easier and quicker. Following the marker on the map, you will come across a cave with its entrance blocked. Move to the entrance and interact with it, allowing you to move the debris away using Mjut. Move forward and face the World Ender.
First Phase
As you enter the arena, you will see that the boss does not have any health bar. Even so, the boss will rush towards you and will try to attack you relentlessly. As you roam around the boss on Mjut, you will realize that the boss has pink bulbous on its legs.
Shooting at these will allow you to deal damage to the boss. As you shoot all of its pink bumps and avoid its attacks, it will start to scream. It will open its whole mouth and will be stunned. You need to ride towards him and pull its tooth out. After this, the pink bumps will reappear on its body, and you will have to shoot at them. Repeating this a few times will take out one of its hp bars.
Second Phase
Hoof, Puff will grow a Peacock Tail and shoot projectiles from its tail in the second phase. These do significant damage, and you have to make sure to avoid them all. Make your way close to the boss, and the game will signal you to release Glittermoths on him.
This will attract the boss allowing you to come close to the legs of the boss. Tie its legs to make it lose balance. Once it falls, you will have to do any damage you can to the boss. The boss will soon get up and start attacking. You have to make use of Glittermoths again and again until another bar of health drops.
Third Phase
The boss will become more aggressive because of its low health. It will come to you with excessive attacks. Dodging every attack is key to defeating the boss. On top of the projectiles, the boss will also spit poison fluid over the ground.
This does decent damage and can be troublesome if you are close to it. You will have to circle the boss as much as possible to confuse it. Using Glittermoths will allow you to distract the boss and give you the opportunity to tie it up. You can deal damage this way a few times. Repeating this a couple of times will deplete its last health bar, and you will defeat it.
