Assassin’s Creed Valhalla The Compass Boss Guide: How To Beat

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Compass

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has plenty of boss fights that can be rather challenging if you do not have all the information on them. In this Assassin’s Creed Valhalla guide, we are going to go over how you can beat The Compass.

You take on The Compass while playing the main quest called Smashing the Compass. You lure out The Compass by taking out his comrades. The following is what you need to know about the fight with the boss.

How To Beat The Compass In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Vicelin or The Compass is a powerful opponent that uses a two-handed flail. We recommend using the Springalds to fire shots at the boss. You can fire 3 before the boss destroys the weapon. He is weak in the right elbow and left knee. So aim for these weak points in order to deal the most damage.

After that, you can use the Focus of the Nornir skill to aim and hit the weak spots of the boss. Once you deal enough damage, the boss will fall to his knee and you will be able to deal a powerful blow. This will deplete half of his health.

Most of the boss attacks are marked with a yellow rune. This indicates that they can be blocked or parried. The red flash will highlight when the boss is about to hit you with his powerful attack. This cannot be blocked or parried so you will need to dodge it.

The Compass can call for help and order to attack the deck on which the fight is taking place. Nearby springalds will fire arrows on the marked locations. Stay out of the red circles in order to avoid taking damage.

Once you drop the health of The Compass to zero you will need to confirm the kill. This is how you can beat The Compass in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. If you are interested in learning more about the game then you can check out our guide on how you can beat Fenrir.
