The gender of your character does not matter for this romance option so you can be a male or a female and still be able to do it with Broder.

How To Romance Broder In Assassins Creed Valhalla

You will meet Broder when you play through the East Anglia main storyline. Your first encounter will be during the Kingmaker mission. You will be required to beat the Danes in a brawl. The fight is not going to affect the romance option.

After, that you will need to progress the storyline and get to the final task. The wedding. At the wedding, there are a couple of optional characters that you can interact with and side activities as part of the festivities. Head over to the table that has food for the guests. This will start the conversation with Broder.

During this conversation, Broder is going to flirt with you. You can choose the dialogue option that is marked with a heart icon. Confirm that you want to go to a more private location and you will get a kissing scene. After the deed is done you can head back to the wedding and progress the mission.
