Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Abilities Guide: How To Unlock

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Abilities

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has plenty of abilities that you can unlock just like the previous game. These can give you the upper hand when dealing with enemy mobs or powerful enemies. In this Assassin’s Creed Valhalla guide, we are going to go over how you can unlock different abilities in the game.

How To Unlock Abilities In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Unlock the previous game, you need to find books of knowledge that are scattered across the world. These are going to unlock your abilities. Different books of knowledge unlock different abilities.

The abilities tab is going to be hidden at first but when you find your first book of knowledge then it is going to be revealed. That is where you can start looking for more books of knowledge and unlocking more abilities. The books of knowledge are marked by a golden book on the map. You will need to find these.

Finding them is not simple as they can be hidden. You might need to move some objects around, find a key, or something of that sort in order to get to the book and then interact with it.

At any given time, you can have 8 abilities. 4 of them are going to be melee abilities while the other 4 are going to be ranged abilities. In order to use the ability, you need a full adrenaline bar. You can do that during combat. Once the bar is full, you can use an ability of your choice. You start off with a single adrenaline bar but you can upgrade that and get more via the skill tree.

Each ability that you can unlock can be upgraded to another level in order to increase its power and effectiveness. You will need to find the second book of knowledge for that ability in order to do that.

This is how you can unlock abilities in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. If you are interested in learning more about the game then you can check out our guide on how you can find Nickel Ingots.
