Ark Genesis Part 2 Maewing Guide: Where To Find, How To Tame

Ark Genesis 2 Maewing

Maewing is another one of the best mounts in the game based on how it travels. Identifying a Maewing is easy as their face looks like a Platypus and has wings and a tail. Despite its size, it is one of the fastest ground mounts. On top of that, it can also travel in water by making use of its paddling tail. Furthermore, the creature has an attack where it scatters all enemies that are in front of it. It can also glide or fly long distances like a flying squirrel because of its wings. This guide will include all the details on how you can find and tame Maewing in Ark Genesis Part 2.

How to Find Maewing and Tame it in Ark: Genesis Part 2

You can find Maewing quite easily in the 30-40 and 60-70 coordinates squares on the map. You can find different colored Maewings in the area. The best thing is that you can choose any of your likings and tame it so that you can use it as a mount.

Avoid direct contact with them when you find them, as they will keep flying away from you. Catching and taming a Maewing is not that challenging. You will have to make use of your traps if you want to catch a Maewing successfully.

First off, take out your Harpoon Launcher and Trap Net ammo. Put the ammo inside of the Harpoon Launcher and aim and shoot the Maewing. This will trap the Maewing inside of a net through which it can not get out. Maewing will be unable to move but will be conscious, so you need to hit it a couple of times.

This will cause it to go unconscious, and you can then feed it Mejoberries and Citronal fruits. This will increase your taming bar, and soon you will tame the beast. Once this is done, you can ride your newly tamed mount creature through the vast areas.

I love supporting my team in the workspace and in Summoner's Rift. Unleashing Haymaker Grit as Sett, jumping from wall to wall as Lucio or giving shot calls as a tank in Ahn'Qiraj, supporting is what I do. I love the Soulsborne series and enjoy a good multiplayer.
