Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade Gigantipede Boss Guide: How To Beat

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Gigantipede

Final Fantasy has its shares of good and engaging bosses. All bosses are unique and different from each other. Gigantipede is one of the new bosses in Final Fantasy. It appears in the first chapter of Yuffie’s DLC. This Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade guide will include all the details on how to defeat Gigantipede.

How to Defeat Gigantipede in Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade

Gigantipede makes its appearance when you are tasked to rescue Zhijie in the factory area. When you arrive at the area, Security Officers will be interrogating Zhijie, and the boss will arrive. In the fight, you will fight as both Yuffie and Sonan.

First Phase

Gigantipede’s weak spots are its head and tail, so make sure you focus on those areas. It is also weak to lightning attacks. Dealing lightning damage to it will increase its stun gauge. Gigantipede will mostly run around in the first phase and use its tail sweep attack to hit you. Dodge to any side to avoid getting hit. Gigantipede will launch missiles at you as well as lasers to kill you. The missiles can stun-lock Yuffie, so you need to be careful whenever it launches the missiles.

Second Phase

After taking out 1/3 of its hp, it will climb up the steel walls and start spawning Containment Drones. These drones lock on to you, making Gigantipede’s missiles more accurate. You have to prioritize destroying the drones at all costs. During this, Gigantipede will be launching constant missiles at you from afar. Any ranged ninjutsu will be very useful in this phase of the fight.

Third Phase

When the boss hits around 25% of its hp, it will detach its head and turn it into a drill. Make use of your Limit Break if you have it, as it can deal massive damage to the boss and increase its stagger gauge. Focus on its head and avoid its tail attacks. Dodge to the right every time so that you can get a chance to damage its tail. Once it gets staggered, you need to focus its head for massive damage output. Soon the boss will lose all of its hp, and you will defeat it.

I love supporting my team in the workspace and in Summoner's Rift. Unleashing Haymaker Grit as Sett, jumping from wall to wall as Lucio or giving shot calls as a tank in Ahn'Qiraj, supporting is what I do. I love the Soulsborne series and enjoy a good multiplayer.
