Beyond Good and Evil 2 “To Have Major Impact On Video Games” – Ubisoft

Beyond Good and Evil 2

Beyond Good and Evil 2 has been in development for a long time now. It is more than likely that the game is not coming to PS4 and Xbox One and will release on the upcoming next-generation PS5 and Xbox Scarlett. That does make a lot of sense keeping in mind the graphical fidelity that we have seen in the trailers so far.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot touched on the game and he mentioned that Beyond Good and Evil 2 will have a major impact on video games. This might be in reference to the graphics quality and the open world. Guillemot might be referring to how this upcoming game is going to set a benchmark for other open-world adventure games. Here is what he had to say about the matter:

The quality of life in this region can be an asset to bring the best talent. Montpellier is a very important world studio for us, which has shown the way to innovation thanks to Rayman. Our teams are currently working on Beyond Good and Evil 2, which is likely to have a major impact on video games. Designed by Michel Ancel, this title which aims to revolutionize adventure games and open world is particularly expected by players.

Obviously you should take this with a grain of salt. This is the CEO of Ubisoft saying these things and obviously he is not going to say something negative about an upcoming product. You should wait and learn more about the game before buying into the buzz and the hype.

We are not sure when the game is going to come out but keeping in mind that the next-generation consoles are going to release in the end of 2020, it is more than likely that the game will release around the same time as well. If that is indeed the case then we might get a release date at the next E3 event.

Let us know what you think about Beyond Good and Evil 2 and whether or not you are interested in playing the game when it comes out on the next generation of consoles.
