DDLC Plus has a new secret ending in the game that was not present in the previous version. Doki Doki Literature Club had an ending that the fans considered being the bad ending of the game. However, the Plus version brings new side stories and an ending that is the true good ending the game needed. This DDLC Plus guide will include all the details on how to get the secret ending.
How to Get Secret or True Ending in DDLC Plus
In DDLC, when you complete the three Acts, you will see Monika in the Void. Here you have the choice of deleting her character file or stare into her eyes. If you stare into her eyes, that is it, and you will be doing this forever. If you choose to delete her character file, then the game will reset. Now Sayori will be the new president of the club. Monika will try to prevent the events and delete the character files of the other Dokis. You will need to reset the game to get to the beginning.
However, in Plus, you get to have another ending, the true one. For this ending, you will need to send poems to all the Dokis to see all eight side stories. To do this, you need to make a safe file before writing your first poem. From here, you need to focus on one Doki, for example, Sayori. You will have to write all poems to her throughout the game till you go to the festival with Monika. A side story which is basically a CG will be available for you to see.
After this, you can load the file and do this with Natsuki and Yuri. You will acquire the CGs for both of them as well. Make sure to watch all the CGs and then proceed to Sayori’s death and play normally. The game will be the same from here, so just speed it up by skipping any filler or unnecessary dialog or cutscene you want.
The Void
You will get to the Void with Monika, and she will make you write a poem for her. She will talk to you a lot and then start staring into your eyes. After she starts saying random things, you need to go and delete her character file. After doing this, restart the game and see how the secret ending starts to unfold.
