As expected, at E3 2018, Nintendo revealed that Fortnite: Battle Royale is coming to Nintendo Switch. The trailer you can see above confirms that the video game developed by Epic Games and People Can Fly will be available for the latest Nintendo console.
The real surprise; however, was the release date of Fortnite: Battle Royale for Nintendo Switch; which, if you didn’t hear yet, is already available.
No Plans for Nintendo Switch Fortnite: Save The World
Since not everything is milk and honey; Epic Games also announced that unfortunately, Fortnite: Save The World will not be available for Nintendo Switch.
More precisely in an interview for GameSpot, a representative from Epic Games said that the studio has no plans for Save the World on Switch.
While Fortnite: Save The World is still in paid early access on PC and consoles; Fortnite: Battle Royale is free to play on all platforms including mobile phones.
Starting June 12, 2018, the co-op sandbox survival game also became available for Switch, setting a new record on Nintendo’s latest platform.
Even though there are several matchmaking issues reported; the video game is still worth downloading especially because Fortnite for Switch supports cross-play with the Xbox One, PC and mobile versions of the game.
