How To Beat Chronos In Tales Of Arise

Once the cutscene is over, the fight is going to start. It is recommended that you not attack unless you see a big enough window. Otherwise, you should keep your guard up and be ready for incoming attacks. The boss does a lot of damage and can one-shot you in some cases.

Chronos has plenty of different attacks that it can use against you, just like other bosses in the game. The ranged slash attacks do decent damage but you can move out of the way in order to avoid taking damage. Once the attack is over there is a short window of time in which you can land a few hits and damage the boss.

Once you bring down the HP bar of the boss to half, Chronos is going to unleash a light beam that moves counterclockwise. You can avoid getting damaged by running away from it. Chronos has the ability to stop time. In this case, everyone in the arena is going to freeze. He is then going to land attacks. The only way to avoid dying is by making sure that you have ample health.

The boss has plenty of health, so you will need to be patient. If your level is not high enough or your gear is not ideal then you might want to leave this boss for now and come back when you are better prepared.

This is how you can beat Chronos in Tales of Arise.
