After you have passed through the Courtyard of the Dimitrescu Castle, you will automatically get to the puzzle. After that, you will get to a room where there is blood or wine all over the floor and will also have the statues of Horse, Woman, Lady and Beggars. For opening the next paths, you will have to spin them in the correct order.
You can find some clues by checking the golden placard in the puzzle room. The placard will read the following:
“Women are blind to male advances, but the poor shall take their chance to give their lord their bounty sown, so that soon the wine may flow.”
You can figure out after reading this, which statue needs to be in which direction. The actual solution for the 4 statues puzzle is:
- Horse should be facing right, towards Woman
- Woman should be facing up, towards the Lady
- Lady should be looking down, towards the Woman
- Beggars should be looking down towards Horse
After you have spun all the statues in their correct order, the blood/wine from the floor will vanish and a new door will open up that will lead you to the dungeon. Follow that path to move forward in the story.
