Guilty Gear Strive Dash Block Guide: How To Dash Block

Guilty Gear Strive Dash Block

Arc System Works has recently released a new fighting game, Guilty Gear Strive. The game has different and multiple characters to choose from. Every character has a different set of skills and abilities. Because of this, many players can abuse the long-ranged moves against new players. Zoning is an efficient method of keeping the enemy player in one corner. However, some people keep spamming projectiles. This can become frustrating, but in Guilty Gear Strive, you can do something about this. This Guilty Gear Strive guide will include everything about dash block.

How to dash block in Guilty Gear Strive

There two ways to avoid getting hit by projectiles. The first is to jump whenever you see an incoming projectile. This may save you in long-range, but you can not jump in close range. This is because the enemy can punish your jump by following up with an anti-air attack or ability. Jumping is also a time-wasting move as you will stay at your location even if u jump the projectile.

The second and more efficient method of avoiding projectiles is by dash blocking. Dash blocking is where you dash by double pressing your D-pad or joystick and then crouching as you are about to come in contact with the projectile. Once you successfully block it, you can repeat the dash block repeatedly until you cover some area and reach your opponent. You can follow up with close-range attacks and abilities to know your opponent.

This is how you can dash block in the game.

I love supporting my team in the workspace and in Summoner's Rift. Unleashing Haymaker Grit as Sett, jumping from wall to wall as Lucio or giving shot calls as a tank in Ahn'Qiraj, supporting is what I do. I love the Soulsborne series and enjoy a good multiplayer.
