Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Healing Guide: How To Heal

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Heal

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla does a few things differently as compared to previous AC games. You no longer regenerate health over time when you are outside of combat. In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla you need to heal yourself and in this guide, we are going to go over how you do that.

How To Heal In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

You can heal yourself by picking up edibles in the environment. These can be berries or food that is lying around in settlements. Once your health is full, the food that you pick up is going to be added to your rations which you can use to heal when you are in combat or need a quick top-up.

You should upgrade your rations pouch in order to be able to heal more. To do that you will need the resources required for the upgrades and each upgrade is going to be more expensive but this is going to help you in the long run.

Other ways of healing yourself include resting. You can head over to your bed in the longhouse and rest there for a bit in order to recover health. You can get perks or skills that regenerate health when you deal damage. These are going to come in handy if you like to face enemies head-on. The higher the damage you deal the more health you get back. So, if you are good at dodging and combat in general then you will never need to use food or healing items.

This new healing mechanic adds to the overall theme of the game and increases the realism. This is how you can heal in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. If you are interested in learning more about the game then you can check out our guide on how you can get the legendary sword Excalibur.
