Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Rued Boss Guide: How To Beat

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Rued

Rued is one of the many bosses that you need to defeat in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in order to progress the game. You will face Rued during the main mission called A Fury from the Sea. In this Assassin’s Creed Valhalla guide, we are going to walk you through how you can beat Rued.

How To Beat Rued In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Rued is not going to fight fair. He has a wolf that is going to fight by his side and killing the wolf should be the priority. Take out the wolf so that you can focus on the main boss. The encounter with Rued is similar to that with Leofrith.

Rued uses a two-handed sword His attacks are pretty slow and you will be able to see them coming. You will also be prompted with a yellow rune which will tell you that the attacks can be blocked or parried.

A special ability that the boss has is that he can regenerate his health. When you see a white glow around the boss, you should attack him immediately to keep him from healing. If you do not do that then he will gain his full health and you will have to deal damage all over again.

Rued has a ranged attack and he can try and attack you with a flaming weapon. This attack is easy to dodge or block. During the encounter, Rued can set his sword on fire in order to deal even more damage. If you get hit three times then you will be set on fire. You will also take fire damage over time.

Do not let the enemy hit you with his fire weapons and interrupt his healing in order to take him out quickly. This is how you can beat Rued in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. If you are interested in learning more about the game then you can check out our guide on how you can beat Fenrir.
