After you manage to kill the Legendary Beaver in Red Dead Redemption 2, it’s time to focus on a more ferocious Legendary Animal. The Legendary Wolf is waiting for you near Cotorra Springs and you can kill it as soon as you start the second chapter of the video game.

Unlike other unique animals in Red Dead Redemption II, the Legendary Wolf is a predator, so you must tread carefully while hunting it.

For this Legendary Hunt, we suggest you find are retrieve Manito’s Rare Shotgun, as you can use it for hunting the wolf as well as the Legendary Bear. This rare shotgun is quite easy to retrieve if you use our Unique Weapons Guide.

So, first make sure you get this unique weapon, then head to the Legendary’s Wolf location marked on the following map.

Inspect it then turn around to find some fur near a larger rock. Next, turn north-east to find a carcass close to a geyser.

Now, you should be able to spot the wolf just in front of you. Make use of your Dead Eye and aim for the animal’s head. And just In case, you don’t see the animal it’s probably because you have not completed the Master Hunter challenges.

At the Fence, using the Legendary Wolf Heart you can craft the Legendary Wolf Trinket. This specific trinket allows you to drink more alcohol (2 times) before feeling negative effects or being drunk.
